Children and families all join together for the first part of our all-age worship at 10am. Parents/carers can then take under 3s to the coffee lounge where our creche includes some short stories from the bible, whilst children aged 3 and over are meeting in the Queen Margaret Hall for an interactive time of learning through stories, crafts, activities and more. Everyone is then invited to come back into church for the end of the service, where we share a little of what we've been learning. Coffee, juice and biscuits are available after the service.

All-Age Service 2019
Our lively worship service for people of all ages. Activities for pre-school and primary school children - Sundays@10 - get underway part way through the service in the Queen Margaret Hall, and a crèche is available in the coffee lounge from around 10.15am.
26 May @ 11:30am
Morning Service 2019
Our more traditional morning service of worship.
30 May @ 9:30am
Informal, reflective service based on Celtic liturgy, followed by tea/coffee.
Thursdays 9.30---10 a.m. ish!
Where is it? Held in the Sanctuary at QPC, this is a short service of app
roximately 30 mins.
What is it? The service follows a pattern of readings and prayers according to the Celtic tradition and reflects the 4 Seasons and the changing Church calendar of Advent, Christmas, Lent. Easter and Pentecost.
Who does it? There is a rota of Bible Readings and Psalms and a different member of the group leads each week. They volunteer ( absolutely NO coercion!) well in advance and prepare a 10 minute reflection on the Bible passage.
And then? Afterwards we enjoy coffee/tea and biscuits---sometimes even cake!---at Hillstop. Spiritual food first, then food for the body next!!
THURSDAY is a very special day of the week for those of us who attend and we would love you to come and join us. You will be made so welcome. Contact the Church Office for more details.
Stepping Stones - Local Bereavement Support Group
QPC and Dalmeny Kirk are hosting a Bereavement support group starting on Wednesday evening, 30th August. The sessions will take place in the Hawes Inn from 7pm until 9:00pm and on subsequent Wednesdays for 6 weeks.
Discussion Topics will include: health and well-being, the grieving process, personal experience, practical considerations, money and legal issues, and socialising and thinking ahead and the way ahead.
You'll find all the background to Stepping Stones here.
...and more information about this series below.
Each of the meetings will start with tea/coffee and chat followed by an invited speaker, who has experience in these areas. The main purpose is to meet and share experience with others who are on the bereavement journey. If you are interested in coming along to one or more of these sessions please contact Nara Nisbet on 07849 648688 or email us at email@example.com. If you know of anyone who may perhaps benefit from a group of this kind, please pick up a leaflet from the vestibule of the Church and offer them a personal invitation or contact Nara and contact can be made.
