Church Constitution Fri 17th Nov
The Church of Scotland is now encouraging congregations to move to a single “Unitary Constitution” which would be the Kirk Session alone rather than as currently split between Board and Session. This will also bring us into line with our responsibility for running a charity as this is best laid on a single body. The Kirk Session and Congregational Board have carefully considered the implications of this change and have unanimously decided this is a good move for the congregation of QPC. To do this we need to obtain a majority agreement of the attending congregation (members and regular worshippers) by holding a Congregational vote (by a show of hands) at all services on: Sunday 3rd December 2017. More details available in the Church magazine article.
