Many churches have found that meeting informally during the week in people’s homes has been invaluable for both the growth and health of their church. They are often called housegroups, homegroups or cell groups.
In the context of QPC/Dalmeny, they have the purpose of meeting our Church vision by:- GROWING CLOSER to each other in fellowship and in caring, GROWING DEEPER in our faith, in experience and understanding, GROWING WIDER, as we seek to include others who do not come to church.
The groups meet currently on two Wednesdays each month in homes, except during school holidays. The groups focus on fellowship, prayer and bible study, and provide an opportunity to discuss issues arising in an informal setting. Currently there are two homegroups meeting.
